1st Day Hike - Another chance to hike the trails
Together since 2001, Friends have been assisting park management with projects, seeking funds and grants for park enhancement, and acting as a liaison to bring park management and users together to address important issues such as water quality, wildlife management, recreational opportunities and park beautification.
Lake Darling is located just 15 minutes southwest of Washington, Iowa and 20 minutes north of Fairfield, Iowa is a destination State Park. The Park offers a wide variety of outdoor activities and recreational opportunities including: camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking and boating. The facilities offered at the Park include: four season lodge, picnic shelters, playgrounds, trails, restrooms, boat rental, beach and soon four season cabins.
